Caravans

A caravan is a trailer for cars appointed with furnishing. Caravans are very popular holyday accommodation. The main difference to campmobiles is the absence of a drive. The disadvantage is the speed-limitation, which does not exist for campmobiles lighter than 3,5 t. The advantages are the possibility to use the car for trips after one has parked the caravan and that a caravan costs about half the price of a comparably motorhome. <br />
In 2005 for the first time in Germany more motorhomes than caravans where registered.
